New Ownership For Health Designs
Jacksonville-Based Workplace Wellness Leader Will Remain Focused on Creating
Happy, Healthy & High Performing Workplaces Nationwide
Jacksonville, Fla. — Health Designs, the pioneering, award-winning workplace wellness company that serves clients nationwide from its headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, is under new ownership. CEO and founder Ann Sabbag announced today that she has sold controlling interest in the company to Jacksonville-based entrepreneur and executive coach Christopher Margolin.
According to Sabbag and Margolin, Health Designs’ clients will experience no immediate changes as a result of the transition, and the company’s services will remain the same. Sabbag has retained an interest in the business and will remain active in its next chapter, working with Margolin and the Health Designs team to support the company’s continued development and success.
“After 24-plus years of fostering happy, healthy workplaces, increasing productivity, and building value for our clients, their employees, and our staff, I was determined to find a successor who shared our values and had the skills and experience to build on Health Designs’ unique legacy,” said Sabbag. “With an encyclopedic knowledge of business, a commitment to wellness, and years of experience fostering top performance for people and organizations, Margolin is that successor. He is the successor I had always hoped to find to lead this company’s next steps, and I’m confident everyone in the Health Designs family will benefit from his leadership. I’m excited to work with him and look forward to what the future holds.”
“As someone who’s spent a career helping people and organizations maximize performance and results, the opportunity to lead a values-centered, industry-leading company such as Health Designs is the chance of a lifetime for me,” said Margolin. “Thanks to Ann’s visionary leadership, passion for workplace wellness, and commitment to best business practices, Health Designs is that all-too-rare company that truly ‘does well by doing good.’”
In addition to the company’s “everyone wins” business model and profitability, Margolin said he was drawn to Health Designs’ thoughtful evolution and rock-solid business practices. “Ann started the business locally, perfected its processes, built an incredible team, and scaled up in a way that maintained a high quality of service and an unprecedented level of client interaction,” said the new owner. “Those are Health Designs’ signature advantages, and they’ve created the perfect foundation for growth.”
“Health Designs’ clients have always understood that employees are the heart of their success,” concluded Margolin. “As the global business model course-corrects to value people as much as profits, we see enormous opportunity.”
Last year, Health Designs’ highly-credentialed wellness team reached more than 80,000 employees at nearly 300 companies nationwide, changing lives, transforming workplaces, and improving productivity and culture.
