As CEO of the industry-leading workplace wellness company, Chris has the opportunity to put his extensive business and coaching acumen to work supporting people and businesses thrive. It’s a perfect fit for someone who’s built a career helping others reach their potential, and Chris especially values the far-reaching impact of Health Designs’ services on individuals, organizations and corporate culture.
For nearly 14 years, Chris coached hundreds of high-level executives and financial services professionals at organizations such as Paine Webber, UBS, Korn Ferry International, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch and others. With a gift for aligning action with vision and values, he also became a frequent speaker on business strategy, client acquisition, and motivation. He wrote a book, Just Ask It, detailing the importance of good listening skills in forming strong relationships and achieving the best outcomes. And he continued to hone his ability to maximize outcomes for people, teams and companies, a skillset he’s excited to apply in his current role.
A New York native who studied management at Pace University, Chris lives in Atlantic Beach, Florida, with his wife Jessica and their son Jackson. Chris is an accomplished woodworker and photographer, a frequent fisherman, and a mediocre but enthusiastic guitarist.

Today, the award-winning Health Designs team partners with employers nationwide to enhance employee health and productivity and build a culture of well-being. In 2018, the company served more than 80,000 employees at nearly 300 companies in every major sector of the economy. And in 2019, Ann sold controlling interest in the business to her ideal successor and took on a new role as Chief Strategy Officer.
Ann’s pioneering achievements in the wellness industry have been recognized by organizations including the U.S. Small Business Administration, which named her “Florida Small Business Leader of the Year” in 2012. That same year, she was named “Small Business Leader of the Year” by the Jacksonville Chamber Health Council, and received the University of North Florida Outstanding Alumni Award. Other honors include receiving the International ATHENA Leadership Award and being named one of Northeast Florida’s “Ultimate CEOs” by the Jacksonville Business Journal, which also named her a “Woman of Influence.” Health Designs has been recognized with multiple business and industry awards, most recently being designated one of “Florida’s Best Companies to Work For” by Florida Trend Magazine in 2019.
With a bachelor’s degree in Health Education from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of North Florida, Ann is a certified Intrinsic Coach who’s completed extended studies in nutrition and behavior change. She serves on numerous community boards and enjoying mentoring. Ann and her husband have two grown children and a farm in North Carolina that she calls her happy place.

Britney has worked with Health Designs for 8 years and is an integral member of our leadership team. She currently serves as our Director of Client Services. Britney works closely with our team of Wellness Managers to support them in serving our National and Carrier clients to design, communicate and implement customized results-oriented wellness programs. She collaborates and mentors our National Team Leaders to deliver seamless staffing and event management. Her objective is to deliver aggregate data and strategic recommendations for every client that ensures their wellness plans and programming support are creating healthier, happier, and more productive workplaces. She is committed to inspiring the highest engagement, delivering a more meaningful experience, and providing measurable results.
In her personal life, Britney is embracing her new role as a soccer mom to her two small children. Every Sunday during football season you can find Britney rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers with her closest friends and family.
Stefan Humphries, MD
For his long as he has been practicing as a physiatrist, Dr. Humphries has been a generalist, practicing in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His passion is inpatient rehabilitation medicine, with additional interest in musculoskeletal medicine including regenerative medicine and diagnostic ultrasound. He currently provides inpatient care for patients with core rehab diagnoses including spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple trauma, and general neurology diagnoses, as well as medically complex patients with cardiac/pulmonary related debility and postoperative debility. He works closely with the documentation and compliance team for inpatient Medicare prepayment denials (with Medicare Administrative Contractors), and in the past with Recovery Audit Contractor denials. Dr. Humphries most enjoys Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for the teamwork it inspires in the delivery of patient centric care.
As Data Manager, Josh lead the "Data Dome" department in all data and reporting services for our clients. Working alongside the Wellness Managers and clients, he also has insight and experience with client programming and often assists in efforts to design programming regarding incentive logic. Additionally, he is the liaison for many of our vendors that offer technical solutions. Most importantly, he supports the organization with his technical and operational expertise.
Josh's love for systems, processes, and operations can be directly tied back to his passion for gaming. As early as he can remember he was gaming and spent admittedly too much time testing the rules and boundaries of every game to see how the systems worked and what was possible. This passion is still alive, and you can find him on the weekend leading groups of people through tabletop games (such as D&D) or organizing groups of thirty people through coordinated group efforts World of Warcraft.
One of Brian’s interests is health and fitness and that interest attracted him to Health Designs, and the health and wellness industry. His experience in Healthcare Administration serves him well in supporting his HD teammates. Brian likes to collaborate and use a team approach to process management and reaching operational efficiencies
Brian, his wife Kristy, and son Brady (age 15) reside in St Johns county. As a family, they enjoy traveling together and attending Football games to cheer on their favorite teams. In his downtime Brian enjoys strength and conditioning training as well as coaching youth sports.
Britnee Bell has over 12 years of broad experience including development and implementation of strategic initiatives and building long-term relationships with large healthcare systems, organizations and the community at large. She is a long-time team member at Health Designs and brings industry knowledge and experience of creating successful health and wellbeing initiatives for employers nationwide. She returns to Health Designs as an Account Executive, to foster relationships with both new and existing clients and serves on the Leadership team.
In her spare time, you can find her keeping up with her 2 sports-loving boys and participating in local runs and workouts with her husband.
In 2006, Melissa returned to Health Designs and has served in numerous roles on the Health Designs team including Health Coach, Team Lead & Wellness Specialist and currently supports us as a Wellness Manager. Melissa’s focus is on providing high touch, first class service to every client and participant she works with. Her out of the box thinking, attention to detail and passion for well-being supports her clients in creating programming that changes lives and transforms companies.
Melissa is a baseball mom, soccer mom, and dance mom extraordinaire who resides in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and 3 kids. When she isn’t chauffeuring her children, you can find Melissa walking or running outdoors, in a dance class or pool side with a good book.
Heather’s attention to detail coupled with her commitment to the success of each client program she manages makes her an integral part of our team. Currently she serves as a Wellness Manager and works closely with our insurance carrier partners.
Heather’s passion for health and well-being extends beyond her professional life. At least once a year, though she wishes it were more, you can find her hiking through the mountains and enjoying time in North Carolina. When she’s not visiting North Carolina, Heather enjoys attending spin class at a local studio and spending time with her boyfriend Tyler and their beta fish, José.
After graduating, she joined the Health Designs team as a Wellness Manager. She has a true heart of service and loves the work that she does supporting her client’s in creating healthier, happier, more productive workplaces. Carly works directly with our broker partners, vendors, and direct clients to ensure high quality, individualized programming and service delivery.
Carly is a Florida native, who enjoys the outdoors. She’s an avid fisherwoman, travel enthusiast, and yogi. When she’s not soaking up the sunshine or hunting shark’s teeth on the beach, she can be found spending quality time with her family. She lives in Ponte Vedra, Florida with her husband Shawn and her furry children Nolyn, Captain, and Taj.
In her free time, you can find her either on the mountain or at the lake. She enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding, and spending quality time with her husband and children.

With almost two years of experience at Health Designs, Karla has established a background in planning, forecasting, and building reporting for our Wellness Managers. She engages in supporting the team on the wellness platform along with creating and designing custom content for clients to use on the portal.
When Karla is not at work she loves to get out and explore nature with her Australian Shepard. You can find her in a kayak, on the beach, hiking a trail or looking for something new to discovery in her local area.

With her breadth of experience working within healthcare companies, insurance carriers, and with vendor relations she continues to apply the holistic approach to wellness nationally with a high-touch service solution.
Russell joined Health Designs as an Onsite Wellness Manager, in 2019 where she provides strategies and best practices for building engagement, productivity and creating a healthy culture in the workplace. She manages a Platinum Award winning Wellness Program onsite, while also supporting Health Designs in Business Development.
Russell also serves on the Board of Governors for the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council as Vice Chair and volunteers her time with service events as an active member of the Beaches Rotaract. In her free time, Russell enjoys golfing, cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers, taking in a Pilates class, and is an avid beach goer.

Currently Sarah is our Coach Program Manager. In her role she leads our Coaching Team, and manages program details from implementation to evaluation, as well as being one of our Telephonic Coaches. She has been with Health Designs for about 10 years in varying roles throughout that time.
A South Florida native who relocated for college to North Florida, Sarah now lives in Saint Augustine with her husband Russell, of 12 years, their 2 young children and rescue dog, Rocky. Though she spent some time living in North Carolina and a summer overseas, salt water is in her blood so she is happy to have settled close to the beach where she enjoys spending time with her family in the sunshine.
